The Typhon DS7 & DS8 (Devin Shidaker Signature Model)

The Typhon Devin Shidaker Select Signature Series are here and are built to play fast! We teamed up with Devin Shidaker of the band The Acacia Strain to instill his ideal specs within two bone-crushing extended range instruments.  These are spec’d out to nail all the premium specs you’d expect from our Select Series instruments, but with Devin’s signature Cauterizer pickups (made by Balaguer), his wood choices, and appointments it truly sets itself apart from any other extended range guitar you’ll find.

Both models have stainless steel frets, a Roasted Maple neck, and a Hipshot IBBY bridge. The Roasted Maple neck increases stability thanks to the roasting process removing much of the moisture and stabilizing the wood. It is less likely to shift during humidity and weather fluctuations on tour, which helps a ton. This guitar is feature packed and is built to be a modern guitar for the discerning modern player!
